Webinar #3 of the series Future of Online Participation in Cities

Participatory Smart Cities Modeling

Urban simulations and imaging for social participation

Cities around the world are leveraging emerging technologies—such as artificial intelligence, digital twins, and augmented reality—to model and visualize urban environments in unprecedented ways. But can these tools be used to foster citizen engagement and create more democratic cities?

Join us in this webinar as we explore the opportunities, challenges and risks of using algorithmic simulations and urban imaging to build participatory cities. We’ll discuss both the innovative potential of these tools and the critical capacities governments must develop to implement them in an open and inclusive way. Attendees can watch live on Youtube and submit questions. Don’t miss it!
